Dr Thomas Buck holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, a Masters in Sport Psychology and a PhD focused on mental health and the experiences of current and retired professional athletes, alongside over a decade working inside elite sporting environments.
His experience spans professional football from academy level through to the Premier League, supporting athletes, coaches and performance teams to build the psychological skills needed to perform consistently under pressure. His work centres on building confidence, resilience and mental wellbeing, helping people navigate the demands of high-performance sport while protecting long-term health. He also currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Performance at UCFB Manchester.
