PEAK4 expands service offering with launch of Occupational Health
In partnership with Latus Group, bringing a preventative, performance led approach to workplace health
PEAK4 has launched its new occupational health service in partnership with Latus Group, one of the UK’s leading occupational health providers. The collaboration combines PEAK4’s prevention focused, sports science heritage with Latus Group’s national clinical infrastructure, including the UK’s largest fleet of Mobile Health Units and the only mobile X-ray service in the sector.
Born out of elite sport, PEAK4 applies proven performance principles to the workplace meaning businesses can predict risks early, prevent rather than react, and help people perform at their best. This preventative mindset now underpins a full suite of occupational health and hygiene services, including health surveillance, environmental monitoring, offshore medicals, counselling, training and vaccinations.
A connected, preventative workforce health model
PEAK4 supports organisations across frontline, industrial, office and leadership environments with practical, evidence led and human-centred solutions. The new occupational health service integrates seamlessly into the wider PEAK4 wellbeing ecosystem, which includes:
- Occupational health services
- Wearable technology for workforce health and wellbeing insight
- Learning Locker behaviour change and education tools
- Performance products and targeted interventions
Each service works independently, but when combined, delivers deeper insight, earlier detection and more effective interventions. Organisations can start anywhere and scale over time.
“Workplaces shouldn’t wait for problems to escalate before supporting their people. By partnering with Latus Group, we’re able to offer organisations a smarter, more proactive approach to workforce health, one that identifies risk early, enables faster intervention and helps people stay well, stay in work and perform at their best.” – Emma Johnson, Director, PEAK4
A growing need for smarter, preventative workplace health
The latest workforce health data from the HSE (2024/2025) highlights the scale of the challenge facing UK employers:
- 1.9 million workers reported work related ill health
- 511,000 experienced work-related musculoskeletal disorders
- 964,000 reported stress, depression or anxiety
- 40.1 million working days were lost to sickness absence and work-related illness or non-fatal injury
- The total cost of work-related injuries and illness reached £22.9 billion (2023/24)
A preventative approach is no longer optional, it is essential. But when things do happen, people need to know the right support is there. A modern occupational health strategy must do both, reduce risk before issues arise and provide timely, expert care when they do.
“The partnership between Latus and PEAK4 represents the next evolution of workplace health. By combining PEAK4’s sports science expertise and wearable technology platform with Latus’ clinical governance and occupational health infrastructure, we have created a solution that enhances performance while strengthening HSE compliance.
This is about moving beyond reactive health management to proactive, data-driven prevention. Employers gain real-time insight into workforce risk, earlier intervention pathways, and demonstrable compliance with regulatory obligations, all while empowering their people to perform at their best, safely and sustainably.” – Jack Latus, CEO, Latus Group.
Together, PEAK4 and Latus Group are redefining occupational health by moving from reactive compliance to proactive performance, helping organisations build healthier, more resilient and higher-performing workforces across the UK.
